06. Help, Where Do I Set Up My Naming Conventions?

Please go to Tag Library>UTM Tags. Open the UTM_Campaign Tag.

You will see 4 options to set up your campaign convention and generate your UTM_Campaign in your link:

• #1 – Super simple: Type your campaign directly in the UTM tagging dashboard – both your friendly name and UTM_Campaign name will be populated from what you type
• #2 – More automated: Select type your friendly campaign name, but generate the UTM_Campaign value from custom tag combinations
• #3 – More automated and standardized: Generate both friendly campaign name and utm_campaign value from custom tag combinations
• #4 – Campaign and data-governance-focused, used when your campaign convention is used in platforms like SalesForce and Workfront, in addition to your marketing campaign platform:
  • This option will use the Marketing Campaign taxonomy/convention page which enables you to combine up to 30 custom tags and other info in generating your convention
  • You can create convention templates that users can easily clone
  • You can send automatically these conventions to numerous platforms or choose to fully automate the entire process of convention creation and link generation through our workflows.
