If you need to disallow certain characters or values from your tags – especially if you team is large and multi-national, it is very easy to do so with a few simple clicks.
This feature allows teams to automatically prevent certain common typos/errors from happening when teams create their tags.
Use this feature to keep a clean and typo-free library. Access the feature from the menu in the side bar.
You have a team in both the US and France. Your team in France has special characters for some of the letters of the alphabet, which might end up creating different tracking elements for the same campaign, and might impact reporting.
To prevent that centrally, just use our feature as shown below.
Certain teams might require that a URL link always has certain components in it. For example, if you want to make sure that all your URLs always have “.html” in the end, you can use our Link Governance Rules.
We have to options for your centralized rules:
All you need to do is a string of characters and then select whether they will be required or excluded from all your URL links.
We also give you the option to keep all your raw/untagged links in one place, so that they are only a click away for your users when they open the Adobe or UTM builders.
Essentially, this is a repository of untagged links that you use frequently. We are saving you time by letting you access these links with a click while building your tracking URLs.
